
Last week, EXA was among an exclusive group of companies to present itself at the MINT Marketplace organized by the School of Business Informatics and Mathematics at the University of Mannheim. EXA was represented by Lukas Hofmann (Head of Operations), Sabine van der Lingen (Graduate Recruiting Coordinator) and Nikhil Rastogi (Consultant EXA Financial Management Transformation).
The aim of this focused career fair is to support the business informatics, business mathematics and data science students of the University of Mannheim to connect with companies regarding internships, thesis support and permanent employment.
Lukas in his brief keynote address to an audience of approximately 150 students and faculty, highlighted EXA’s rapid growth story, focus areas and the need for talented employees with diverse backgrounds. Thereby underlining that EXA’s growth strategy requires continuous recruitment of talents that want to work in an exciting and empowering environment at the interface of IT and business.

Throughout the fair, Sabine, Nikhil and Lukas conversed and connected with many interested students at EXA’s booth, with topics ranging from Big Data Analytics, Predictive Maintenance to EXA’s Indo-German corporate culture and opportunities for internships and employment at EXA. After a successful event, Sabine van der Lingen pointed out that: “I was impressed by the eagerness and motivation of the students and very pleased with the overall organization of the MINT Marketplace. We are looking forward to continue the dialogue with the candidates and are happy to receive their applications.”
EXA is looking forward to participating in the next MINT career fair in the spring of 2019.
